We are finally starting to see the vineyard change its color! With the past few weeks giving us warm (90+ degrees) weather our vineyard has started to show some activity! The Queen Ann's lace is all around helping to nourish and replenish water to the soil, as well as bringing out more of the bugs. After walking through the vineyards with Mike and talking with Grant, both seem to be in good spirits about this upcoming harvest! The Vineyard is very healthy and shows little signs of stress. Grant sprayed a small portion of the Beaux Freres Vineyard with chamomile tea to try and help reduce the burden on those vines. Harvest is just right around the corner - we are estimating October 17th! It will be interesting to see how what the weather will do......
